Certificate renewal is required every two years. This helps to ensure that doulas with a current New Beginning certification status are up-to-date with their skills.

All birth doulas renewing their certificate in 2025 and 2026 are required to review coursework updates in the birth doula course, as outlined in this course. This is a new format as of April 1, 2025 and you will need to request access to the renewal program. Please email office@trainingdoulas.com to request access.

Some of the content will be familiar. Some of it is new and some has been recently updated. You will work with a trainer as you did for your initial certification. If you have any questions, you can contact your trainer or send an email to office@trainingdoulas.com.
